Hello Forum,

Glad to have found this place. I just picked up a 2011 Fiesta S w/5 speed manual transmission with 30,000 miles. I have read about some of the early automatics having issues, did the manual transmissions have issues as well?

Thanks for reading my question,

Foamer

I have a 2012 Fiesta. I came to this site to see if anyone had any advice for me concerning my transmission. I have a manual. I am at 72,000ish. I was driving on the freeway when my clutch gave out. No resistance at all. It was impossible to shift for a while. I was able to eventually shift and it slowly started working. It drives fine now but still feels off. I called my dealership (I have an extended warranty). It's 270 something to just take a look at it and its not covered by the previously mentioned warranty. I don't know how this happened or what I could have done wrong. My advice. Don't buy it, but I guess it's too late for that.
