I just bought a 2013 hatchback for my daughter. About 65k miles. Price seemed good. But once again, for the second time with the same dealer, I only got one key. I was determined that this time I'd make sure they gave us the second key....for free. Oh....first time was last spring what we bought a 2015 Escape and got only one key)
They agreed to make a new key for me, but I didn't realize, until I got home, that the only key I was given was just a key. No buttons to remotely unlock the doors. So now to open the hatch, you need to sit in the car and press that button.
Anyway, my question is.....did all these cars arrive with remote keys? I know that they had available some sort of 'special keys' but it seems that even the base model would have at least one key with the remote buttons. Yes? No?
BTW, we have the 2013 hatchback SE (I think it's SE.....it's the middle model)
Thanks in advance.
