Fiesta showcased at music events
Ford Fiesta Forum - Ford, which is trying to pitch its Fiesta subcompact car to youthful buyers, is the title sponsor of the 10th annual Movement: Detroit's Electronic Music Festival, going on this weekend at Hart Plaza in Detroit, and the exclusive automotive partner of the Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival, to be held June 10-13 in Manchester, Tenn.
"The target consumers for Fiesta are huge music fans, and our goal is to connect with that community in a fun and meaningful way," Ford's Car Experiential Marketing Manager Jeff Eggen said.
Empowering people to tell the Fiesta story is what led to the success of the Fiesta Movement, an initiative that introduced the small car to consumers through agents who have been driving Fiestas and relating experiences through social media sites.
Three local Detroit artists will be creating Fiesta-inspired art that they are to paint onto Fiestas during the three-day festival.
